Sikh Center of Orange County
Our mission to follow the traditions and teachings of our honorable Sri Guru Granth Sahib i, is to provide complete religious, social, and cultural teachings and understanding of the Sikh Religion. Sikh Center of Orange County focuses on promoting the messages of the 10 Gurus, starting from Guru Nanak Dev Ji to Guru Gobind Singh, and the Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, our living Guru. There are weekly live Kirtan and Katha programs and digital Facebook live forecasts. Sikh Center of Orange County is dedicated to enrich lives of practicing Sikhs around the world by sharing the message of equality and justice for all. We serve langar (food ) to everyone regardless of race, religion or caste.
Guru Nanak Children's Academy (GNCA) is an integral part of this organization. It is a place for Sikh children in America to embrace their culture through language, music, art, and faith. Each student is prepared to stay strongly rooted in his/her beliefs, develop a strong spirit of Seva ( selfless service) and values to face challenges and tough choices in the world. It is a weekly Sunday school to learn about the Sikh religion and traditions, cultivate friendships, and develop a defining Sikh Community Spirit. GNCA graduates continue to be actively involved in community service.
